Top Teens of America, Inc.
Top Teens of America, Inc. (TTA) is a service organization of dedicated young people willing to contribute their time and energy into making their community a better place to live. TTA provides all teens, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic status, an opportunity to receive extra-curricular support, while fostering career and character development. Currently, there are 108 TTA chapters with over 5,000 members throughout the United States.
The Marshall All-America City Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. was chartered on March 14, 1982 in the Gold Room of the Marshall Public Library. At the 1982 SYN-LOD held in Dallas, Texas, the Chapter received the number 1045, as the 45th Chapter to be chartered. The Ladies immediately began to organize a Top Teens Chapter. Lady Mildred Mason, the TTA Advisor, worked diligently planning the first TTA induction.
